lyrics

It wasn’t like that, it wasn’t like anything I’ve seen. You know its such a crying shame, to see your face, look the way it does. When your leaving, thats when you know where home is, Id only ever half lived before you came along but the cracks still show.

Its not as if these, plans we made were consecrated in the ground. Its not as of the screaming void has ever really made a sound.

It wasn’t like that, don’t feed me that timeless line again. If only I could make some plans, maybe shake some hands, like I said I would.

Since yesteryear its been crystal clear that the colours cry, their cut and dried in the deepest blue.

Home is where we grow apart, its where the hurt is thats for sure. Fonder is the absent heart, with time to start a faith renewed.

Wide is the canyon, that sits between the two. Of now and forever, I don’t always need the truth. And though the sun is dying, it still shines on me and you. So how could forever, look anything but good?

Say the words, so i can hear them, cant we all, be true believers, darling I know where my home is and I know its you.

With smallest parts to bigger pieces, give much more than you receive, its only love, and I’m a realist, real with you and I believe it.
